Extraction fans in bathrooms and kitchens are the minimum standard for managing moisture at its source. We install and replace extraction fans for new builds and existing homes, ensuring correct sizing, appropriate ducting to outside (not into roof cavities — a common and damaging mistake), and compliance with the New Zealand Building Code and Healthy Homes Standards for rental properties. All fans are installed to current standards with appropriate timer controls.

Healthy Homes Compliance

New Zealand's Healthy Homes Standards require rental properties to meet specific ventilation requirements, including extraction fans in kitchens and bathrooms with openable windows or additional mechanical ventilation.
